Terms of Service
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at thepostmortemreport.com ("the Site") and any content published on the Site. By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. About us
The Site is operated by inihcrats.uk ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.
Contact email: postmortem2026@gmail.com.
Full legal name and business address: available on request to the contact email above.
This information is provided in compliance with the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002.
3. The service
The Site is a public information page for The POST Mortem Report, a faceless short-form video channel covering cybersecurity incidents, breach postmortems and related forensic analysis. Video content is published on third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram). Use of those platforms is governed by their own terms of service.
4. Educational and informational use only
All content on the Site and on our linked channels is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It describes historical, publicly reported security incidents and concepts. It does not constitute professional cybersecurity, legal, forensic or other professional advice, and it must not be relied upon for operational security, incident response, compliance or any other professional decision.
You should seek qualified professional advice tailored to your circumstances before acting on anything you read or watch.
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure information is accurate at the time of publication, we make no warranty that any content is current, complete or free from error. Cybersecurity is a fast-moving field; details of incidents may evolve after our publications.
5. Intellectual property
All original content on the Site and in our published videos — including scripts, narration, edits, graphics, branding and the The POST Mortem Report name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.
You may view content on the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, sell or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by applicable law (for example, fair dealing for the purposes of criticism, review or quotation under sections 30 and 30A of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988).
Some content may incorporate third-party material (for example, stock footage, public domain footage, or short excerpts of news material used for the purpose of critique or commentary). Such material remains the property of its respective owners and is used under licence, public domain status or applicable fair-dealing exceptions.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site or its content for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
- scrape, crawl, harvest or otherwise systematically extract data from the Site without our written permission, except as permitted by a published
robots.txtdirective; - attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its hosting infrastructure, or any related systems;
- introduce malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or interfere with the proper operation of the Site;
- use the Site or our content in a way that misrepresents your relationship with us or implies any endorsement we have not given.
7. Third-party links and platforms
The Site contains links to third-party websites and platforms, including the platforms on which our video content is published. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party. Following an external link is at your own risk.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from viruses or other harmful components.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or its content, including loss of profit, loss of data, loss of goodwill or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law, including any rights you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
10. Reporting copyright or other concerns
If you believe content on the Site or on our channels infringes your rights, or is otherwise unlawful, please contact postmortem2026@gmail.com with a clear description of the material concerned, the rights you assert and your contact details. We will review and respond promptly.
11. Termination and suspension
We may, without notice, suspend or restrict access to the Site, or remove any content, where we consider it necessary to protect the Site, our visitors or our legal interests. We may also amend or discontinue the Site at any time.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of the Site.
